Thank you for using Menta, a mobile application developed by Mentaloop AI Kft. (“we,” “us,” “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use the Menta app (“App”). By using the App, you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: When you register, we collect your email address and login credentials via Apple or Google sign-in.
• Profiling data: During onboarding and progressive profiling, you may provide information such as age range, gender, panic intensity level, and behavioral preferences.
• Usage data: We track your interactions with features such as techniques, flows, panic support, and statistics to personalize your experience.
• Device information: We collect device type, operating system, and crash logs for technical diagnostics.
• Optional data: You may optionally share feedback or use the sharing functionality to send statistics to others.

We do not collect sensitive health data unless voluntarily submitted through app use. We do not access location, contacts, or photos.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

• Provide and personalize the Menta app experience
• Track usage patterns to improve our techniques and flows
• Show you relevant progress and community interactions
• Maintain technical performance and detect bugs
• Send you relevant notifications (in-app only, not promotional push)

Menta is intended for use in the United States and complies with applicable privacy regulations, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). The app does not diagnose, treat, or monitor health conditions and is not a substitute for therapy.

We retain your information for as long as you use the App. If you delete your account or request erasure, your personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days unless required for legal compliance.

• Apple Sign-In and Google Sign-In for authentication
• Firebase or similar services for analytics and crash reporting
• Klaviyo or equivalent for optional email communication (pre-launch only)
